“Beautifully Maintained, Clean Comfortable Rooms.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

I honestly cannot say a bad thing about this property. In town for a Soccer match at Red Bull Arena. The interior gardens are calming and give you the feeling your somewhere tropical. The staff was kind and courteous and even stopped me to ask if there were anything to make my stay more enjoyable. The two top floors are reserved for Hilton Hhonors guests and executive stays. It allows for a more peaceful rest with less of the children and teams you would find on the lower floors. The ice and snacks are located at the ends of each corridor so its not a hike in either direction. The breakfast was fresh, plentiful and made order if you wish. The exterior of the property is equal to the interior impeccable! Who ever manages this property deserves a promotion because I've stayed at other embassy's while almost always good, never to this level. If your in the Harrison,Newark area you will not be disappointed with the extra few miles to stay here! My only gripe is with Hilton and their astronomical WIFI costs at $12.95 and $5.00 for a bottle of water and I thought the old price of $3.00 was bad.

Room Tip: Traveling without kids ask for the key carded 4th and 5th floors.

This hotel is nice. Very busy though. There were tons of kids but the front desk gave us a room on a higher floor (without us even asking) so we would be away from the noise.
I wish they advertised breakfast comes with every room. I paid for a room advertised to have breakfast and Internet included but could've saved some money because the breakfast seems to be free for everyone and we didn't need the internet. The breakfast was one of the best hotel free breakfasts I've seen.
The room was clean and comfortable and I loved the toiletries. They are Crabtree & Evelyn.

Thank you for your review of your stay with us. We very happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. The internet package does include breakfast, as do all of our rates. However, their is no increase on any of our rates for having breakfast included, the only increase you incurred was for the complimentary interent. I hope this clarifies everything.

We look forward to seeing you again soon!

We were traveling between two different Memorial Day weekend events and the hotel was located between the two. Kids loved the pool, breakfast was good. Negatives were no door between the living area and bedroom for privacy and overall noise in the hotel. Lot of kids running around most of the night. Good place to stay with two little girls who can share the pull out coach. Got a Rey good deal on Priceline.

I stayed stayed here two weeks in a row due to training at ADP in Pasippany. This hotel is only a mile or two-way. It's also across the street from the Waterview ADP office.
Pluses-
Felt safe both weeks as a female traveler.
Nice having a suite. Both living and sleeping areas have flat screens.
Nice hot breakfast. This is self service. Best to get there before 9:00 though before some of your favorites run out. Also there is someone on staff there that goes he extra mile to refill your coffee while wearing a suit.

Room for improvement-

The decor is a little older.
Room service is pricey. Paid 48.00 for meatballs, broccoli and a cup of tea.
Manager's hour is not what some of you savvy business traveler's think. Here it's nacho chips, celery and popcorn. Nothing hot. You've been told.

Had a problem with toilet overflowing. Called housekeeping. They never showed up. Cleaned up excess water on my own. One time on another day trash cans ere not emptied. It's for these reasons I did not mark them as excellent. I put my trash cans out in the main area of the suite to make sure they were always emptied.

More positives-

One of the best business centers I've seen.
May be able to get a break on the internet access rate depending on how your room is booked.
Very spacious 24 hour workout center. 5 treadmills,2 bikes and 2 or 3 ellipticals. Free weights are also available.

On site restaurant calls Bisteca.

Good place. You will love the atrium

Room Tip: No spa. Ignore my rating!

The staff are very inviting. Melissa at the front desk is phenominal. She'll remember your name and use it when she sees you and when she talks with you. Rooms are nice and clean. Bathroom fixtures look a little worn but it won't stop me from staying there again, wich I will.

We usually stay at a nearby Hampton Inn when visiting North Jersey, but it was booked. This was our 2nd choice, but no longer -- its our preference now. The staff was friendly and responsive; the room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated; the bed luxurious. Breakfast, although crowded, was very good and the buffet was refilled continuously.

I have stayed at this property more times than I can count in the past year. On a whole, it is my first choice in this area.

On a plus side, the rooms are spacious, clean, and the facility is well maintained. I give kudos to the staff who are always friendly. Melissa always greets people with a friendly smile at check in. The woman who works breakfast is also extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast has a good selection and there is usually sufficient seating.

The only ding is that what to expect on arrival is somewhat inconsistent. About 75% of the time they get it just right, you will get the room you booked and if you are a gold / diamond member your water bottles and snacks will be waiting in the room nicely presented. Unfortunately, maybe they overbook or something, but the other 25% is often a miss. You may have booked a king bed on an executive floor but will wind up with twin beds or (worse) in a smoking room. If you arrive and a room does not already have your name on a folder, just accept that you will never see your water bottles, snacks, etc. for the duration of your stay. The front desk staff will be very nice and will try to take care of it but maybe it falls into a room service black hole and after 2 or 3 tries you just kind of give up. This could be easily fixed by providing the front desk staff with a stash of supplies so that they can just reach under the counter and hand you some water bottles or whatever at time of check in.

Room Tip: If you can get a room on the lobby side of the hotel that is a plus. The rear of the hotel faces th...
