Stayed at Sonesta while on a business trip.
Room was pleasant and spacious. We got a 1 bd king suite.
Rooms are equipped with a fridge, micro, dishwasher, 2 burner stove, coffee maker. Utensils and cups/plates are invluded. Not much as far as pots and pans (we had one plus one that was for steaming veggies). We didn't use these so it was not really a deal breaker for us.
Bed was comfy and had lots of pillows. I didn't care for the bathroom amenities as they smell like cheap coconut.
One negative for me: I am not an animal person and a few dog hairs here and there bothered me. Especially one on a cup that I got out of the cupboard.
This is an extended stay hotel so they don't clean it daily. They will make your bed and refresh towels daily though.
Breakfast was above average: yogurt, pastries, bagels, fresh fruit, waffles, oatmeal, eggs, bacon one day, sausage the next, juices, coffee, pop, etc.
The light reception offered in the evening is a nice touch. There are some cold pasta salads, chips and dip, fresh salad, and a hot entree. Plus there is free beer and wine.
The on-site gym is very minimal and small but it does the job. One of the 2 treadmills seemed very new and updated.
Business center included 3 desktops for use and a printer. We did not have any use for these, but it was a nice to have.
Parking is free and plenty. Always a plus.
We tried to get into the pool area but the door would not open after using our room key. We didn't care to check with a staff member as the pool seemed discolored (green color) and was only 4.5 feet deep.
I tried to get a shuttle to pick me up from the hotel that my business conference was at and they said it was too far (although it was max 20 mins with traffic). Not their fault but would have been nice if they could have accomodated.
Overall, decent hotel with a few extra perks. Staff were friendly and breakfast good.
