“Multiple business trip stays - some great and some okay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2013

I have stayed at the Park Ridge multiple times for work travel. Some of the stays have been great! The food is usually good and better than many similarly situated hotels. The front desk is sometimes great and sometimes just okay. Some of the rooms have been renovated from top to bottom and are wonderful. Others – it’s like they stopped at the bathroom and kept old components.

Highlights –
The bar is the hotel is great. Super friendly and good food.
The room service is also incredibly nice and food is good.
The beds are incredibly comfortable!
Very peaceful setting in the woods!

Down points –
Internet is not free and can get costly at $13 or $17 a day.
Parking stinks. It’s always crowded.
Front desk is hit or miss.

I stayed here multiple times, so I guess that says a lot about my opinion of the place! With some warmer touches, it would be a five.

Green Features: They advertise as being clean and there is a sign in your guest room that says there is a recycling bin in your room. I didn't see one recycling bin during my entire stay. Not environmentally friendly.

I recently stayed at the Hotel for our High School Reunion. The hotel is nice even though the hotel is under renovation. The service at the Front Desk is extremely slow and often only has one person working at the desk. Not sure whether they are trying to do this to cut labor cost or not but they are cutting it in the wrong department. Nothing is more annoying than waiting 20 minutes in line to check in and 10 minutes to check out.

The Banquet Facilities were nice and the waitstaff and Bartender did a great job. The food was delicious. We decided to hit Sean O'Casey's after the Reunion and the drink prices are high with mediocre service at best.

I feel they should have done a better job blocking us all together so that we were not disturbing other guests having us spread out all over the hotel. Beds, Towels, Linens and Amenities were very nice.

Stayed there for a quick overnight while in the area and it did just the trick. Quick check in and despite the construction, everything was very orderly. It had a good workout room with clean locker rooms. If it wasn't 15 degrees outside and snowing, I am sure the pond, running stream and outside pool would have been nice additions as well. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was a good size. The pub was a good place to watch a football game. The next time I am in town, I will stay here again (hopefully when it is warmer).

Stayed at the Park ridge for our wedding 10/25/2013. Lisa was amazing and they treated us and our guests wonderfully. The hotel is a bit dated and we ended up having a parking lot view, but the service and personnel were exceptional. I would stay here again if staying in the area.

I stayed here for one night on business. This part of New Jersey is beautiful, and the grounds fit in nicely. There is a pond out in front, and a little brook which runs under the walkway in the front. Check in was quick and nice, and they even had little nibbles at the front desk. Everything was clean and well decorated.

The room was typical Marriott. Clean, functional, nice bed and comforter, newish television, good wi fi.

My favorite part of the hotel is the Irish pub. Big bar, lots of televisions, good service. All good!

I liked it, and would not hesitate to stay again, even if I had to drive a bit out if the way.

Restaurant (Irish Pub knock-off) could have better beer selection and food choices. Beds are comfy with plenty of pillows and options. Rooms are clean. Showers are great with good pressure. Not half bad.

This is a review of our most recent stay at this Park Ridge New Jersey Marriott full service Hotel.
After, a rocky start, things started to improve.
When we reached our room, we observed no soap in the bathroom, neither facial nor bath.
I called At Your service and was assured that the missing articles would be delivered promptly.
After waiting for twenty minutes, I rode down to reception and was given soap. Later, housekeeping did deliver two handsoaps to our room.

We were attending a week-end family function including many meals in the various restaurants and ballrooms. The food was generally good and the service excellent. We were 125 guests and I will say that A good time was had by all!

Room Tip: We were in room 342' a very noisy location. One door away from the elevator corridor. This a ve...
