Navigating through a mega mall like Garden State Plaza can be tedious and exhausting. Luckily there’s an elegant yet casual eatery in which you can throw down your bags and revive yourself. Papa Razzi is a located near Nordstroms and directly next to the very popular and crowded Joe’s. Luckily, Papa Razzi is rarely crowded so a diner can easily grab a table or a seat at the bar. I have often found it easier to sit at the bar, which can easily accommodate a plethora of shopping bags.
The Antipastis are plentiful and can easily sate the noshing mood. Try the Gamberi Allo Spiedo – shrimp on spinach with lemon vinaigrette. The Antipasti Della Casa could easily feed two hungry shoppers and is alone worth visiting the restaurant. For hungrier appetites there is wood fired pizza or daily entrees such as Lasagna Bolognese or Osso Buco in a demi glace. Meat dishes and authentic pastas abound. Definitely give the wine list a glance. The wines are selected to pair admirably with the cuisine, featuring Italian, Californian and Australian selections. A delicious bite, a glass or two of wine and you’ll be ready to hit the stores again.
