We spent a week there and had great time. Everyone was very friendly, The room was nice and clean. You can 't ask for a better location. You can park you car all week because everything you need is right there. We will be returning next year,

This is a great hotel, I highly recommend it. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms are a very decent size and well kept with simple but clean and new furnishings.

The location in ocean city is amazing. You have the beach 2 blocks away. A bike rental location 1 block away. Several nice restaurants and stores within 1 block away. And a wawa, cvs, and acme right on the corner.

The only inconvenience is that they do not allow swimming in their very clean, heated, outdoor pool after 8 or 9pm or so. Too bad...

You can't go wrong with coming here.

The Crossings is a inexpensive condo/hotel on 34th street. It is quiter then downtown but still has enough around to entertain the family. The hotel is located three blocks from the beach. The pool was redone this year and is now heated. They also have free wireless internet and a game room for the kids. The rooms are all studios with kitchenttes. Great way to save money! It is conviently located near Acme, CVS, and WaWa. For the money I think it is one of the nicer places to stay in OC.

Our family has stayed at the Crossings for a few years now and there has been some improvements and some disappointments.

We'd hope that this review is constuctive criticism for the motel and staff and for all travelers.

Firstly, the motel has been converted into condos whereby rooms are sold to outside investors and the motel then rents out to guests. The renovations to our room where very nice and well appointed. Our room had an efficiency kitchen which came in handy when you have small children.

The downside is that the overall maintenance of the common areas, lobby and pool area were in disrepair. We were especially concerned with the stair wells not been adequately lit at night .

As for the location of the motel, it is situated where there is a grocery market, a pharmacy and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The beach was also about 2 blocks away. This makes the Crossings a decent choice for families.

We give mixed reviews for the staff. The front desk was good about greeting us and allowed us to see our room before we were charged which we thought was good business.

The cleanining service was sufficient most days, although our room was finally cleaned mid afternoon which is inconvenient (especially if you a toddler who wants to nap). We were told by one cleaning staff that she couldn't clean our room because her shift was ending in 10 minutes. We were lucky to get towels that day. Most days we came back to the room where we provided towels and toiletries but no clean toilet, tub or kitchenette. I had to end up cleaning the bath and counters myself.

In fairness the one girl who had cleaned our room on the third day did gave us a great clean room.

The biggest downside was the continental breakfast. Skip it all together.

In short, little touches mean a lot and would surely attract more guests to the motel. If the Condo Association/ Property Managers would invest some money to the building exterior maintenance and serving a decent continental breakfast, The Crossings would be a family hit.
