Nicely maintained boardwalk and very family friendly. Thursday nights during the season are Famliy Nights and popular. Bike riding is a must although I suggest going earlier in the morning as mid-morning gets crowded. Usual boardwalk fare with a couple gems namely the Hula Grill (excellent) and Clancy's (very good). Pizza joints seem to be competing for the largest slice of pie and offer much shorter lines than the venerable Manco & Manco's. Rides for the little ones are plentiful although the arcades are a bit dated. Fralinger's and Shrivers battle for taffy supremecy and we lean toward Shrivers. If the kids can walk the entire boardwalk, park at the end of the amusement areas (Gillian's Wonderland) adjacent to the football field. Parking is normally available and rates reasonable. Also, the trolley service in the summer is a nice touch but be sure to have the exact fare.
