Went to Bongo's in Ocean City, NJ on September 9. 4 of us , two couples. Since it was the beginning of "off season" we didnt have a problem getting seated and that is a major plus on a Sunday morning. Menu for breakfast was really attractive. I had two eggs, grilled salmon, potato pancakes with toast. Very, very good. My wife had tofu and veggie omelette with feta cheese. Our friends had Tex Mex that was pronounced delicious (and this is from folks who experienced the Southwest first hand). Coffee refills were constant and not just by our waitress, but by whoever came by. The folks who run this place (Patty and Buddy) know how to cook and host. On the TV was "Beach Blanket Bingo" (just to date ourselves) which also sparked lots of fun conversations. All in all a real fun brunch place. .... a word to the wise - I can only imagine what this place is like during the summer weekends so be warned. they are open six days a week during the fall and winter . try it. (Only 11 miles or so from Ventnor and Margate)
