Usually it is hard to find a truly good restaurant "on the island'. I'm excited to say that 701 Mosaic bucks that trend. We have been twice now and the food is excellent and unique. When we arrived we were given some samples of their juices made on the property, neither of which I had ever tasted before. The bread was warm and delicious. The appetizer was delicious, a nice apportionment, artistically presented and came on a bed of delicious greens that were almost a small salad. The jerk chicken was outstanding and VERY spicy and came with delicious sides of plantains and rice and beans. Their remoulade is yummy and light, not "mayonaisey" as they often are. The server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant itself was very clean, spare and small, almost a cafe type atmosphere. An all around wonderful meal. The only criticism is that the chairs were quite uncomfortable. They could use some pads perhaps.
