After changing hands several years ago, this place went to the dogs. Happily, former staff member, (Irish) Sean McMullan is back as the GM and has been bringing it back to its former status. The menu is Irish/American with nightly specials of Shepherd's Pie, Chicken Pot Pie, Prime Rib, Meatoaf, etc., all made in-house. Burgers are big and juicy and the wings (with over a dozen sauces to choose from) are as big as a baby's fist. Club sandwiches are huge and delicious. The only reason for 4 stars, not 5, is that the kitchen is sorting itself out and has not yet reached 100% consistency. Live Irish music is back (no cover) and there are hours of free buffet, half-price apps, and drink specials. The Guinness is perfectly poured as well. It is kid-friendly, and both bar area and separate dining rooms are available for seating. Welcome back, Anglesea Pub. We've missed you!
