This is my first time in this restaurant and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The location is right on the highway in North Bergen. Arriving, you pass by a number of cheap motels and run down gas stations. Do not let the surrounding area dissuade you; this restaurant is outstanding and well worth the trip. I tried the sangria which is excellent and the Argentinian Parillada which is a nice combination of sausages and meats which are perfectly prepared. The meats were served with mashed potatoes which were nothing special, but to be honest, I wasn't there for the potatoes and the meat was so good I can easily say these were some of the best meats I've had in the USA. I've been to many restaurants both in the USA as well as abroad. I believe this place is a great value. The entire meal was about $70; now I've been to steakhouses in NYC where they charge over $300 for a steak. What does the extra $230 buy you? A nice cushy seat and impeccable wait staff? Sure. Better meat? No, it doesn't. I would have given this place an excellent overall except that the location is not good. The portions are generous, the staff is attentive.
