We stayed here for one night as a pre-cruise hotel but we also wanted to go into Manhattan for the evening so the location is excellent. As my title sated there were absolutely no surprises and that it was I wanted. The staff was excellent, the room was very nice and the bed was great. I rated the value as average because it was more expenisve than other comparable hotels in the area but the location of the hotel was the key determining factor.

I would stay here again if I had a need to go into Manhattan again.

We stayed here on the night before a cruise. Very convenient location to Penn Station for transport to Manhattan, a very quick trip. Rooms were clean, comfortable, more than adequate for an overnight stay. Front desk staff very helpfull-- began at check-in, continued through to helping find transport to the port. Very nice deli type restaurant on the walkway to the train that a great, reasonable breakfast. Would definitely go back.

Stated here for eight nights. It was a great place to stay with easy access to South Orange where we were visiting our son, and only a short train ride to Penn Station, Manhattan via NJ Transit or the cheaper option PATH, either to Penn Station, Manhattan or up to 33 Street. Also very convenient to New Ark airport- 35 minutes from time of leaving hotel until fully checked at airport. Staff very efficient and courteous, and dealt with any issues promptly. Excellent breakfast available, especially at weekend. Room good size with the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept in. Would highly recommend this hotel.

This is a decent hotel. The elevators are fast so there is never really a wait. The rooms are a little bit small but laid out well enough so they don't feel very small. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked awesome. It's hard to find hotel rooms with good air conditioners. The flat panel TV was nice with a wide variety of channels. The room had a nice sized desk and the wireless internet, although not free, worked very well and was extremely fast. The bathroom was about as small as a bathroom could be made. There was a decent amount of counter space for toiletries, but no room at all to move around without falling into the toilet or tub. The shower had a nice shower head and good water pressure, but the drain was extremely slow to drain.
