“Very disappointing”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013 via mobile

This place is beautiful outside but the food is mediocre no AC, the servers need retaining immediately and the manager look like he just got out of prison. Absolutely no manners the cook should be fired. I am Portuguese and this is not what Portuguese food is about I would be embarrassed to recommend this place to anyone.........

“If you like Portuguese food . . .”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

Nice neighborhood, family-friendly, good ambience, very good Portuguese food with excellent service. Full bar. Fresh seafood. Happy place. Off the beaten path. Good value. Go there next time you're in Newark for NJPAC or The Pru..
