If you are a health junkie or on a strict diet...this is your place. The sandwiches build your own like a subway but it's obvious the ingredients are extremely fresh and many healthy options.

The woman making the sandwiches was rude and practically yelling at the customers asking for food and insulted one man who spoke broken english.

The price was ok, not cheap though.

I would return here for the healthy aspects but that woman should be fired.

“Decent fast food from the food court”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013

I had a Panini sandwich from Greenleaf's last week, and I must say that it really wasn't all that bad. It was sliced grilled chicken with other veggies and thinly sliced avocados, all grilled into a Panini roll. For institutionalized food, it wasn't bad, although it also wasn't something to write home about. The service was a little on the slow side, but still acceptable. Getting a table inside the food court was also pretty easy.

If I went back to the same food court, I'd probably try one of the other restaurants, although I wouldn't be against eating here again either.

“I Don't Usually Give High Marks for Airport Food, But...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

On a recent flight from Newark, my partner and I stopped at Greenleaf's at a food court on the way to our gate, mainly because we never buy the food on a plane. The Greenleaf stand was clean and everything on display looked fresh. We both bought a "Grab and Go" salad, with a great combo of grilled chicken, bleu cheese, fresh greens, walnuts and dried cranberries. It was delicious! The portion size was excellent for the price, just under $8. Better than any food you could get on a plane. I later learned that Greenleaf's is a chain, so if you have one at your local airport, look for them and by all means, get one of their fresh salads and you won't be disappointed. (Their chocolate chip muffin was also a fresh and satisfying end to our meal...)

“Hands down the best Paninis ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

Located in Terminal C in Newark Airport. We ordered Chicken and Vegetable paninis here. They were by far the best paninis we have ever tasted. Beats Paneera Bread hands down in terms of taste of food and quality. Must eat here if you are at Newark Airport

“Surprisingly good , fresh and fairly priced”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

We got to Terminal C quite early. As you may know, food options are arranged in food court-like hubs. One stood out-this one. Huge salads-both pick and point and prepared. My family split a decent melon cup, a large van choc nonfat fro yo, and a Thai chicken wrap. Yum. This surprise came on the heels of spotting near Gate 90 a store selling Joseph Ribkoff clothing. That they had it at all let alone on sale was remarkable.
