I cannot understand why there were so many great reviews for this place. My husband had fond memories of this place so we took our children back and were sorely disappointed. We paid $55 for 2 adults and 2 small kids and that was with a $5 off coupon. Upon entering the place though we found out that to do anything inside that required extra money. Stagecoach, pony rides and the train were all extra- so what did we just pay for was our question?? The town "stores" weren't opened and the few that were really offered nothing of great interest. There wasn't much else inside the park besides the pony ride, train, and stagecoach. They did have ongoing shows in the street but they lacked luster. They seemed like they hadn't practiced their demonstrations and shows. The demonstrations had absolutely no charisma and you could barely hear what they were saying. The guy on the loud speaker should stop talking over the performers and the park should add microphones to the performers so one can actually hear what's going on. I guess our first indication should of been the lack of cars in parking lot (less than 15)... needless to say we were in and out of the park in less than 45 minutes. Not only did it not captivate the adults attention but our kids were confused and cared more about the toy guns that all the other kids seemed to have purchased in the general store. Save your money and get a tour of Yankees Stadium for the same price- so much more worth it!
