This is one of the few places in suburban South Jersey nirvana where you can find a real knish, a pastrami sandwich that has dimension, a bowl of matzoh ball soup with qualifiable ingrediants, and white fish bagel where the actual fish is fresh and palpable. The family business provides a 50s decor affected small restaurant whose staff is always friendly and immediate, providing an intimacy in character the space lacks in its artificial ambiance. Smartly the main business is catering and take-out which they do abundantly efficiently and with consistent quality. The downside of the place are the hours - they are not opened late enough even for ordering an early dinner. Their prices are also have been a bit on the high side for some items, but I feel the value is well worth it. The place recently suffered the sad death of its owner but they seem to be carrying on just fine, including dropping prices to be more competitive without loosing exceptional quality.
