“Solid Place to Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2009

I stayed here recently for a short business trip and it was pretty nice. Rooms were well maintained and the beds were comfortable. Service was good as well. Free breakfast in the morning was a plus for me too. Would also think this would be a nice place for families as well. Right behind Best Buy and the Moorestown Mall and really close to tons of restaurants.

We stayed here for a hockey tournament in Voorhies NJ. We stayed here with about 10 families. The front desk was a little intolerant ofthe kids.

The rooms were clean and large. Bathroom was clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. There was a large flat screen TV in the room, and almost a full kitchen.

We were there for 2 nights. My room was not made up at all during my stay.

There is so much shopping nearby ... so cool.

I've stayed at many Homewood Suites while working out of town, most recently in Mt Laurel. I had internet trouble one night for about 15 minutes but that's it. Otherwise it was fine and it was always during the week (I stayed there for several weeks Sun-Thurs).

The suites are pleasant, the people are nice, and it's great to stop by for a quick breakfast or dinner. Actually, I never ate the dinner, but did pick up the salad to take back to my room.

  • Liked — Lots of space, very clean.
  • Disliked — nothing

This is a nice hotel and you get what you pay for. The food is pretty good (full breakfast every morning and dinner on week nights). Its not gourmet, but the price is right (free). The rooms are nice, as its a newer property: flat screen tvs, etc. The staff is very helpful.

My big complaint/caution is the internet. The hotel has wired and wireless "high speed" but they are both horribly slow if you are using it during the peak times (Mon, Tue, and Wed nights). So if you are there on business and need the internet at nights, think twice.

  • Liked — Newer property
  • Disliked — Internet

Stayed here for 10 days....no problems except finding it. Very tough to find as it is hidden....we drove around for over half an hour, and we had directions off mapquest that were ambiguous at best. No room noise in our room, but we faced the opposite side of the road that someone on here said they were calling the interstate? It is just a side road....a little over the top on calling it an interstate....not even close really. Desk rep got a little lippy once...staff is nice otherwise. Wouldnt make a habit of eating the meals there every night, but rooms have refridgerator, stove, dishes etc....so we just went to the store. I would rate it an 8 out of 10 basically. Got a little more than what you normally pay for.

  • Liked — Clean and generally nice
  • Disliked — Room size..not very vegetable friendly meals

The pool was closed when I had been calling all week to make sure it was open! Some kind of chemical issue. Aside from that, the night manager was so helpful when we couldn't find the place--he stayed on the phone with us til we got there!

My husband and I went to visit our son at Drexel University in November. I always read the reviews on tripadvisor since a bad experience in Florida a few years back. The hotel was beautiful, the room gorgeous and huge. Had it's own kitchen, huge shower and clean. The hotel is fairly new which is what I look for when researching. It's not that close to the college and had to pay the bridge toll going back there the next morning but that was okay. I don't mind as long as I stay in a nice place. The location is behind lots of stores that you can shop at if necessary. The staff was very nice and helpful
also. Breakfast was good. Make your own waffles and the other run of the mill stuff. I would highly recommend this place.

  • Liked — clean and friendly
  • Disliked — can't think of any complaints
