We (5 adults, 3 kids, and 19 mos twins) stayed at the hotel Memorial Day weekend. We picked this hotel because it's convenient for us since we were visiting Sesame Place and the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ.
We got to the hotel very late so we didn't get to really see the hotel. From what we could see, the place is well-kept. There're also 4-5 hotels right next to one another. I checked out some sites like travelocity and hotels.com and found that the corporate website offers the better deal than those other sites. But we booked the rooms using Hyatt points, so how can you beat "free" rooms.
We were able to get 2 mini-suites that were next to each other (but somehow not adjoining). My husband , our twins, and I stayed in one room and the rest of the gang stayed in the other. There were double beds, and a sofa bed. The 2 cribs (more like playpens) we requested were in our room when we arrived. The rooms are spacious and clean. There's a desk, a living room and a bedroom area, a little area for a microwave, a sink and a refrigerator. The layout of the room is cozy.
There's also complimentary breakfast buffet in the lobby area...lots of food!!! It's from 7-10 AM on weekends, and I think 6:30-9:30 AM on weekdays. I thought there weren't going to be any food left since we got a late start...we got to the lobby at 9:45AM...but the food kept coming out. There are eggs, french toasts, make your own waffles, bagels, breads, sausages, juices, hot beverages, cereals, muffins, fruits...to name a few. =) Not sure if it was because of a long weekend or what, but the hotel was packed....but we were still able to get a table within 5-10minutes.
For those travelling with young kids...the electical outlets are very visible and there're no outlet covers.
After a hot and fun-filled day at Sesame Place, this place gives an "ahh" feeling.
