Marzullo's is decent Italian cuisine at a fair price. I see there are deals and half priced pasta nights which we didn't try on our first visit. We ventured there for a late Sunday lunch based on a review my friend saw from a Channel 2 News article online. The service is friendly and on par for this type of ambiance. There is the deli-cafe on one side and the dining room on the other.
Appetizers- fried calamari- they were good but no tentacles which means frozen ones. However they were tender enough and not chewey.
New Zealand mussels- they were ok, not OMG
Entrees- Homemade gnocchis in a bolognese sauce-excellent
Eggplant rolletini- very good
Angel hair pasta with sausage in white wine sauce-very good.
We had their biscotti which are available with an array of fillings- I loved the cannoli filling. The gelato also looked good.
We will definately visit again and considering we have passed by Marzullo's about 30 times, we will now have a reason to stop by.
