“Second visit, same warm feeling”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

I spent two nights here. The hotel is nice and clean, the room was very well appointed and maintained. What really makes this hotel different is the staff. You feel welcome the moment you step through the door, Eve's broad smile (and a few words in French) lighten your day. Breakfast is fine, with waffles and hot food. And the price is right.

Judy and Bill were on duty when we checked in on August 22. They were incredibly nice and very helpful! They gave us printed directions to the NJ Motorsports Park (the reason for our visit to Millville), and they told us about a great option for our return to North Carolina - the Cape May Ferry! This was wonderful news to us as we had just spent 8 hours on the road - two of them in the DC/Maryland traffic! To find there was a ferry that would avoid all of that was a Godsend, and we DID take the ferry for our departure from New Jersey. It was awesome. We are so grateful to Bill and Judy for that advice, and for their kindess and courteous service.
When I failed to remember to check out before leaving the hotel on Sunday, I called the hotel about 2pm and apologized for not stopping by the front desk. We were anxious to get to the track, and just completely forgot. The woman who answered the phone (not Judy) was wonderful and explained that she checked us out automatically at noon, and not to worry. She was very sweet and I greatly appreciated her taking good care of us in that regard. Overall, our stay was great and we will definitely stay there again if we return to the Millville area. It is a little worn - but for the price it's a very good value. Lots of dining options close by.

This was a overnight stay. The room was clean, the coffee maker was full of dust. Maybe no one has been in that room lately, but rooms still need to be dusted. I was a little disgusted. Other then that, the breakfast was nothing like the last time. Next time I will stay at another hotel and spend a little more money.

This is a very good hotel, don't pass it up.

The exterior needs a makeover, but the rooms are fabulous. Big, flat screen TV's, decent channel lineup, comfy beds, modern look. Quiet.

Their computer went down right as I arrived, which kinda stunk, but the front desk staffer was trying to get me on my way ASAP. The front lobby was a bit stuffy, but not too bad. didn't get a chance to try to pool.

The only qualms:
1. The interior door paint needed a refresh. It was starting to peel.
2. VERY low water pressure, much lower than other hotels.

My mom and I stayed here when we visited Wildwood. It was very difficult to find a (somewhat) reasonably priced ($95/night) hotel nearby, and this was the only one we could find that didn't have reports of bed bugs. We came in pretty late, but the staff at the desk were still extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel rooms are clean and satisfactory for a decent night's sleep, although the air-conditioner was located in a corner and there was a window in the bathroom. However, the exterior does need a bit of a facelift; even a coat of paint would help tremendously. All in all, this isn't a terrible place, and is a perfectly fine place to spend a night or two.

Check in was simple as we had booked in advance. The room was spacious; however the bathroom was small and the fixtures were short! I'm a 6-footer and the sink barely made it above my knees. The complimentary breakfast was good - choices included hard-boiled eggs, sausage, cereals, waffles, juice, coffee, tea & muffins. Quiet and will stay here again.
