“Nice atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2014

Lovely place, old fashioned English feel. I ordered the sampler platter that contained a Scotch egg, a Welsh pastie, onion and cheese pie, and a bit of sausage in pastry. Very nice food. They brew their own beer and I had a delicious pint. Staff were very friendly and helpful. If I lived in Milford I would spend a great deal of time here.

“Local Brew Pub we frequent often”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

Awesome brewer who has 4-6 Micro brews on tap at any point in time. Great British menu and we love the daily specials...fresh fish, vegetarian options. Great specials during the week...Tuesday Burgers are local beef and served with a pint very inexpensive. Wednesdays are another favorite...Fish & Chips. We always feel welcomed by so many of the great staff.

“Beer... What more is there to say! ... Lots!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2013

We went to Ship Inn last night with friends for dinner, and as always, it was great. I will say that I am a big fan of the beer!! I love their beer styles and their recipes. Man, however does not live by beer alone. :-) The food was wonderful as always. We started with toast in a blue cheese sauce that was amazing. The entrees were equally as delectable. The Mac and Cheese was particularly noteworthy. It was flavorful and rich, and yet not over the top - an excellent balance. Definitely a dish to try… again and again!

“A Nice Place to get Comfortable.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013

We have been here several times so it is one of our go to haunts. The prices are reasonable and the service is good. If you are a beer person you must stop in. Very relaxed and comfortable pub. Clean and homey comes to mind, and on the historical side it is the first brewpub in New Jersey to brew beer since prohibition. The town is cute, fun and a wonderful place to just stroll around in. The old train station is now a delicious bakery and the little grocery store has a very good selection of wines. This location is a perfect venture for locals and tourist alike.

“Good food...very different”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2013

We tried this place one night when the oyster house was closed. I think I went in expecting more of a seafood place rather then an English place. Although we were originally disappointed since we were craving fish...we really enjoyed our meal. The drinks were good as well. I think we will have to go back again and give it another try to be fair. Place was busy and people were happy. Long time to get food though
