Fred and the crew at Trio are amazing! April 2011 my father passed away and I had to scramble for a place to "celebrate" his life. I had never had to do this before. My mother didn't want anything with big ugly chafing dishes - she wanted something intimate to celebrate his life. My parents had gone to Trio many times and enjoyed it. Their play reading group had gone to Trio and enjoyed it so I set up an appointment with Fred. He had recently had a death in his family as well so we were able to bond. He said he would open up for us to have a private party and together we created the menu. On the day of the repass, the food, the family and friends and atmosphere could not have been more perfect to celebrate the life of my father. Fred and his chef worked together to create some DELICIOUS appetizers and food - as i said, everything was perfect under the circumstances. April 2012, my mother passed away and instantly I knew where i would go to have the repass. Fred remembered me and my Mom and was saddened by a double loss so close together. His profiessionalism and caring nature made me feel comfortable and that I had made the right choice in coming back to TRIO to celebrate the life of my mother. My head was reeling and I was in shock but because of the relationship I had built with Fred, it was comforting to celebrate my mother at the same place i had recently celebrated my father. TRIO in Martinsville is most accomodating, the food is awesome and I appreciate them at a time when I needed them most. TRIO Rocks!!!
