We've eaten here several times. When the owner is there the place runs well. When he isn't there it is better to leave. Also owns Makato next store and seems to take long vacations to Malaysia. Big menu, usually large portions, with some items done well and some terribly. Brown sauce covers up a lot of mistakes. Skip any fish dishes. Pork, beef, chicken and shrimp are usually good. Service is marginal. Can be very quick or agonizingly slow, Meals for all diners don't always come out together, Getting more water or additional napkins is like pulling teeth. Many of the wait staff speak marginal english.
