Special dinner box overall was tasteless. California roll...not great.Chilean sea bass...tasteless also cooked a little long. Black rice risotta...not good. Maybe the other entrees are better but skip these items.

“Delish spot to satisfy your sushi needs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013 via mobile

Place is beautiul inside and has outdoor dining. Our waitress was nasty but the other servers were quite nice. Food had nice presentation and the tuna tasted like they had just pulled it out of the water.

We also had the Hadeed special roll, sauce was a little sweet, but the roll was heavenly.

My friend had the blueberry lemonade cocktail which was lite and refreshing.

“Still consistent after all this time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013

You have a choice of hibachi or regular table (take the table), a very active bar, indoor and sidewalk seating, good service and the bonus - always (and I mean always) great food. Service sometimes comes with a smile but the restaurant is fairly priced for the location and always busy so you know the turnover on the food is consistently high (something you want in a sushi bar). Try it out it will not disappoint and a much better choice than it's neighbors across the street.

“Very tasty”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

After a day at the shore we sat outside here. Part of the Pier One complex with a prime location. Food was quite good but they can't seem to decide whether they are a Japanese restaurant, Asian mix or a bar. The food was super, from the miso soup to the chicken lettuce wrap (my fav) to the sushi (the duck roll was a hit). But, the service was spotty (I hate it when the main meal arrives as you are still have soup and starters) and the price was a tad high (sushi rolls ranged from $13-18 and entrees started at $18 to mid-30's). Bill for four (with tip) was about $170. This a beach town, not NYC. So, if you are in the mood for something other than burgers, pizza or italian, this is a nice stop, but perhaps not one you'd want to do too often.
