“Casual and tasty”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2014

Randomly stopped in here for a casual dinner. We were quite pleased with the salads and pizza. The service was very good and efficient. Will definitely return again.
My only criticism is that the bathroom could use a facelift, a bit run down and makes a bad impression in an otherwise nice spot.

“Food terrible”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2014

We ordered a panzarotti and a Caesar salad.
The panzarotti was so hard you could hardly cut it with a sharp knife. The Caesar salad was drowned in oil. This was the worst meal I had.

“Much More Than Pizza”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

The name does not conjure up gourmet food and the service, while efficient is somewhat hurried, but the food on our 2 visits was excellent. Both the mussel appetizer and the seafood fra diavlo had fresh plump seafood in an excellent seafood flavored sauce. The stuffed eggplant francese is worthy of a four star restaurant. it's plain that this restaurant family really enjoy what they're doing and it shows in the quality of the food.

“October in Linwood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

Found it by reading an article in the Atlantic City paper and all they said was true. Small restaurant with great service and delicious food. My wife had the chef special Involtini with meat sauce and I had the veal stuffed with crabmeat. Both were served piping hot and flavorful. Our server was attentive and made sure we received everything to our liking. Great find - will certainly re-visit when we are back in the neighborhood.

“Horrible Customer Service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

We heard recently how good the food was at Pizzatega; also read a nice article in the local paper promoting this restaurant.. We decided to try it and invite another couple to join us. We made reservations 3 days in advance and looked forward to a nice meal with a BYO bottle of wine. Reservations were for 6 pm. When we arrived the restaurant was crowded. There was no greeting; we were quickly escorted to a small booth in the back of a room which appeared to be the take out section. We were by the kitchen door. I tried telling the girl we had reservations. The girl who showed us to the table all of a sudden was gone. We all agreed we did not like this booth in the back. At this point the owner, who needs a personality adjustment or a course in customer service asked us what the problem was. We explained we had reservations and we were not pleased with the booth. She said this is all we have and walked away. So we sat down. There were only 2 menus on the table there were 4 of us. The owner ask if we want our bottles open and she gave us one special menu; iI a few minutes she returned to take our order in the same unpleasant, straight forward personality. Never a smile or pleasant, cold disposition. She may have descent food here, but she is not helping her business with her personality. I must say the meal was OK, but the experience was awful. Once served our plates were immediately removed after our last forkful. They did ask if we wanted coffee, but nothing was mentioned about dessert. As we left we noticed the pleasant looking dining room in the other room. I can't help but think we would have enjoyed our meal much more with our guests if we had been seated in the dining room, had a different waitress and not rushed so much. I guess reservations do not mean anything here since no one ever took our name or crossed it off a list. If they were under staffed or did not expect such a crowd all she had to do was explain...we would have understood.
