“Excellent food for a very reasonable price!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2012 via mobile

We stopped here after finding it on trip advisor on our trip through the area (NJ Turnpike), and we were pleasantly surprised at how great it was!! We were a little surprised to find it was a Polish restaruant, and the beers on tap didn't ring any bells but holy smokes it was great! I had a delicious German beer with the Spinach Chicken and I highly recommend both. The chicken was served with spinach, tomato, and cheese with a delicious pan sauce. It was perfectly cooked and PACKED with flavor. My family had the perogies, Tomato/Mozzarella app, and the chicken Kabobs for meals and they all came highly recommended. The most expensive meal was my own, and it was only $12.99. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone in the area or passing through on the NJ turnpike.

“A+ Dining Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2012

Visited Abigail's Cafe for the very first time 7/1/12 while in Linden visiting friends. Charming place. Absolutely a wonderful & delicious dining experience. Friendly & accommodating staff. We first chose to sit outside, but found it was too hot for us. Staff quickly found us seating inside in the air-conditioning.
There were 4 of us. We ordered appetizers, shrimp in garlic sauce, cheese, sauerkraut & meat Pierogies, & grilled Polish Kielbasa. Entrees were Portuguese Steak, Picadinho A Chefe, Hungarian Pancake stuffed w/beef ghoulash, & Schabowy. Desserts were Chocolate Lava Cake, Tiramisu & Cheesecake. Everything was delicious. Will definitely eat there again when in N.J.

“A Bicultural Gem in Linden”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2012

I work in the Linden schools, a true "melting pot" of diverse cultures. So, too, is this restaurant. I used to joke that, with a Slovak Mother and Italian Father (talk about mixed marriages!), I had great home cooking: kielbasi parmeggian, veal and cabbage, jellied pig's feet marinara, you get the idea.
This restaurant goes that one better--combining Polish and Portugese cuisines. Their Polish platter reminds me of Mom. We have never had a bad meal there. Highly recommended.

“Awsome place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2012

Great food, clean, very tastful bar/restaurant. You get to taste some awsome european cuisine including polish pierogies or slovac fried cheese. Their "steak on a stone" is absolutely scrumptious, and really unique! During summer or spring you can enjoy it outside..Great prices on food, drinks etc. I go their for girls night out, dinner with a hubby or family lunch..
