“Delightful Spring Experience at the Swan Hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2012

We live only about an hour away from Lambertville so occasionally we take a last minute weekend away to Bucks Cty., New Hope and of course, our fave little town, Lambertville. We went at the end of May and the weather was perfect, so we did alot of walking around the town and noticed The Swan. We decided it was the perfect little courtyard with its tall black framed window from their dining room, and rustic ambience to have a beer and refresh and it was s o much fun sitting there, listening to the fountain-and chatting with other patrons (and petting their sweet dog!) that we decided after seeing the menu that we'd return that night for dinner. The staff was friendly and super attentive and quick to bring out some little snacks to go with our drinks. We only wanted a casual meal for dinner (bar food was fine) and when we returned we ate indoors. I love the dramatic atmosphere inside as well, very intimate and with the flavor of English pub decor. I had the freshest, tastiest burger ever. My husband enjoyed his meal too. We will be sure to stroll by and enjoy this delightful little corner "experience" every time we return. (By the way, it is not an inn, they do not have accommodations. We asked!)

“Perfect meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2012

This place was pretty much a perfect experience. Our waitress didn't have to sell us a thing, she was genuinely in love with her place of work and with all of her recommendations. The wine was fine, and the food was wonderful. The swordfish steak was perfectly prepared, and my fiancée had one of the best filtet's she has ever ventured to try! We had a great time and I would recommend it to anyone looking to have a romantic meal in a relaxed environment. Also, the bar is so cool.

“Great food and atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2012

We were searching for a restaurant we hadn't been to yet in the Lambertville/New Hope area and stumbled across Anton's At The Swan on tripadvisor. The menu was a bit limited online, but the reviews were great and sounded exactly like what we were looking for, so we made reservations for a Saturday night. It was great! The menu was limited (hence the "very good" instead of "excellent"), but the food was outstanding! The shrimp appetizer with peanut sauce was delicious, as was the poached egg salad. For dinner, we had the duck, a sea bass special, and the Griggstown chicken. Dessert included a bourbon brown sugar cheesecake, flourless chocolate cake, and an apple crisp tart. Everything was fantastic! The service was great too - attentive but not at all overbearing. The atmosphere was very quaint and romantic. There is a cute, small bar when you walk in, and the dining room on the main floor has all dark wood trim and antique-style accents. There is a small parking lot in the back, which is key for Lambertville! We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!

“Romantic, cozy and tasty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2012

A great spot for a quiet night with someone special. The room was dimly lit with candlelight, the service was wonderful and everything we ordered was delicious! I can't wait to go back. I especially loved how we didn't feel rushed out and got to savor our meal.
