We went to Alice's with a group of 7 people. Overall, I thought the food was very good. The view is beautiful - right on the lake. Unfortunately, we were unable to sit outside because they cannot accomadate a table of seven people outside. We had two choices for a table - either one where the chairs were high (like barstools) which wouldn't have worked for the child and older folks in the party, or a table by the bar. We had to take the table by the bar, so it was quite loud. I had the Cold Cucumber Soup and Summer Risoto and was very pleased. My husband had the lobster roll and really liked it. Four people in my party ordered the spare ribs and they only had two orders left, so two people had to change their orders. The two that got spare ribs said they were just "ok" (I'm not a meat eater, so can't comment). One person ordered the crabcakes (they ordered one crabcake @ $14, but two crabcakes came out (which would have been $28) - the waitress gave her the extra crabcake for the $14. The child in the party was not happy with his macaroni & cheese (I don't think they used cheddar cheese), but he's a fussy eater. I took it as a doggie bag and ate it the next day. I thought it was good.
The parking lot is small off of Nolan's Point road with a second level of parking at the bottom. If you have older people in your party, you might want to try to park up top, or at least drop everyone off in front of the door because there is a huge staircase to climb from the lower parking lot back up to the front door.
All in all, I was happy with the restaurant, food and service. I was a little disappointed that they couldn't accomadate seven people on the outside deck. I will probably go back with my husband one day and sit outside, because it is a lovely view.
