“Convenient for Manhattan visitors”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

Great view of the Manhattan skyline, Quiet, and could not be any more convenient to get to the island. On your next visit to Manhattan consider staying in New Jersey! The PATH train is directly outside the main entrance and in only one stop takes you to the World Trade Center where there are easy connections to the subway.

We have stayed here several times and love the location, the quietness and the view. In the past there have been nagging issues but after contacting management they could not have been more accommodating. They got everything perfect this time and the staff at the front desk and at breakfast treated us like family. I highly recommend this hotel but suggest follow up on any special requests ahead of time and check in early or on time.

Yvonne Yip - VIP Coordinator - earned her title - she was VIP in the way she handled herself and our needs during our stay. The PATH station being next door was a homerun - direct access to WTC. The view of NYC was awesome. The meeting rooms were excellent and well staffed.

From the moment I walked in after miles of traffic from my commute, the check-in was fabulous. She recognized my frustration from a long day and my nervous anticipation to be at a restaurant in 20 minutes. She offered my water and a great smile and service. She put me at ease and I had a wonderful on-time experience at the Liberty House. The view was incredible and well as the lounge. I will without a doubt be back to the Hyatt on the Hudson.

Far more economical than staying in NYC, this hotel overlooks the harbour and the skyline. A quick ferry irde or tube ride and you're at the Freedom Tower. They charge per device for wi-fi access, which aggravates me, especially as a Hilton honors frequent traveller, but then again, you can pop over to Starbucks for free wi-fi.

From the moment of entering the hotel was made to feel very welcome. Staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. Nothing was any trouble. Rooms were clean, comfortable and afford excellent views looking across the Hudson River to the Manhattan skyline. Hotel is well situated next door to the PATH train which takes you to Newark Airport or into New York. I would definitely stay here again rather than staying in New York itself. PATH service is reliable and frequent.
