“Honeymoon trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

Me and my wife stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon. The location could not be any better. The views are spectacular from all the rooms. ** Ask for an even number room I think the views are better on that side of the building. Unfortunately we wanted a balcony room but it was not available. Not a big damper on the plans though again because of the views and the staff. The entire staff is wonderful from the valet to the room.

Our valet man David gave us the proper information on parking and the surrounding area. I forgot the valet gentlemans name but worked the overnight and brought the car around with information also. The bellman Sylvester gave us great ideas for rooftop locations and some great restaurants in the area. Reinaldo helped us during checkout. William at the front desk was aware of a few hiccups we had and remembered to ask us if there could be anything done. (side note Johns Pizza is the one raved about in the area).

Yvonne was very kind in helping plan out our stay and we consistently ran into her throughout our stay and as everyone else asked us how our stay has been so far.

All in all you can't go wrong at this place. The staff is great the views are great and the surrounding area has its own style. Till we check in again thank you for all your help and see you soon!

Room Tip: Even rooms higher floors // or the balcony rooms which are definitely by far the best

On vacation with a big family, so we need three rooms. We wanted to avoid the high price, small rooms and night noises of Manhattan. Plus I wanted the kids to ride the PATH and the subways to get a feel for the good, the bad and ugly of the City. I saved a ton a dough by staying at this hotel and using the public transit was eye opening.

Glad I stayed here, the hotel was decent, people were professional. Felt like good value relative to the Manhattan locations..

I stayed at this hotel for three days and this is what I think: the staff is great, helpful, and friendly. The hotel is really nice, and clean, located by the river so you get to enjoy a gorgeous cityscape of down town ny. The room aware big, clean, well put together: with temperature control, great window blinds for complete privacy/darkness to sleep. The room I stayed in had a fridge, coffe maker, flat screen TV,alarm with ipod.iohone dock, air blower, iron, and iron board, as well as a safe. The bathroom was nicely cleaned, also well out together no bad ordor. The hotel had at least one restaurant, plus a bar, plus swimming pool and gym. The surrounding area was beautiful, with many bars, restaurants, shops, mall, and walkways down the riverside. The price could be a bit hefty so be prepared, but I think it's worth it. Ah the hotel also had large rooms for events of any sort. There was also a parking fee, and WIFI was 10 bucks 24 hours. Hope you find this review helpful.

Room Tip: If you want to go to sleep w a beautiful view: pick rooms by the river, and pick floors 7 and down b...

OK, Jersey City isn't Mathattan, but the view is better. From just accross the Hudson you can take in the full New York City skyline including the Empire State Building, the World Trade Center and even the Statue of Liberty (albeit at a distance). Hop on the PATH train just outside the hotel entrance and a few minutes later you are standing in the shadow of the new Freedom Tower. A 10 min subway ride later you are in Times Square and beyond.

The rooms are beautiful as one would expect ar a Regency, the sleep quality was excellent with none of the city noise you can get down town.

It is a package that is hard to beat especially considering the size of the room for the price compared to NYC.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are large and have excellent views.

Well, it is really phantastic to wake up and have a view on the NY skyline. Going one station by path train you are direclty in the center of NYC. The Hyatt is located ot the NJ side of the hudson. The room was very spacious and clean. But you could always hear your room neighbours and you know what they were talking about or doing the other day. If you dont mind that, the Hyatt is a nice play to stay and start your discovery of NYC. The business center is very nice and in a professional mood as well.

We had a wonderful experience. The location is not only ideal for the view of the Manhattan skyline and the surrounding area, but the close proximity to the PATH train made it so easy to navigate to the NYC subway and sightseeing destinations. All of the hotel staff we encountered were very helpful, friendly and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. Can't wait for a return visit.

Room Tip: Rooms with a view of the Manhattan skyline are a definite perk.
