“Awesome sandwiches!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013 via mobile

The food here is amazing! I always get the shawarma! Always tastes great, no matter what time you go. The portions are generous, and the staff is always friendly and courteous.

“Good food, good price, always crowded at this location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

This review is for the Hoboken, NJ location of Mamoun's Falafel.

This restaurant is famous for its low price, wholesome falafel dishes. The menu has limited items but you'd never go wrong with any of the dishes. There are vegetarian options as well.

This location is always crowded and service tends to be slow. The staff is prompt, though haven't found them to be as friendly as the New Brunswick location.

Recommended for a quick bite / evening out with friends. Do not expect good ambience / table service.

“good quick stop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

Don't be fooled by the name...there is lots there. (We didn't have the falafel!?)

The line moves very fast and you take your tray out or in to the tables....the guys behind the counter keep it moving but are nice too.

Shawarma and lamb kofta (?) were both nice...one was a bit overcooked a la a hamburger but nice as well. The side dishes, with the exception of the tabooli were really great. Tabooli looked great but was more or less flavorless; odd. The pickle cukes and turnips were great.

Bread was not good quality pita but was fresh..it was the spongy variety. OK but not great.

Overall, a good place to go and, maybe, eat falafel too

“Falafel is the real thing!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013 via mobile

The food here is out of this world. Falafel sandwich is delicious made with the perfect amount of fixins. Everything ish fresh and the pickles are unique to the restaurant. It's more of a fast food joint but its great food that's Affordable. The mint lemonade is something to try too!

“Great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

We were a big group and pretty loud, but the guys there treated us very well. We ordered a party platter (meat) that fed 6 of us. It came with three meats and two veggies of our choice plus pita bread and some olives/pickles.The others ordered individual servings of various grilled meats with rice and pita. Everything tasted very good and the service was prompt. Their mint lemonade was delicious also. I would definitely go back there again. A great place to grab a quick meal as well as to sit at the outdoor seating and people watch.
