I recently booked this hotel for a large group. I was very impressed with the treatment I received from the moment that I contacted the hotel. The sales manager was terrific! She was extremely friendly, polite, professional, and courteous. Every conversation with her was a pleasure. The customer service definately met and exceeded my expectations. At first, I was a little skeptical about choosing this hotel because I usually book hotels in areas where there are more activities for people who like to go out. However, after speaking with the sales manager and having a tour of the hotel, I decided to book. So glad I did! 53 people and not one complaint. Everyone enjoyed their stay. The hotel is new and therefore the rooms, pool, exercise room and everything else were very nice. The hotel also has a bar downstairs. Even for people who don't drink alcohol (like me), it's a cozy little area where several of the guests were able sit down and mingle with each other in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. The bar also has a fireplace, three screens, and big glass windows overlooking the river (looks great at night). Even though there wasn't a huge selection of restaurants in the area, there were enough. Most of the guests went out to eat, and again, no complaints. It's nice to go into a hotel with twenty rooms reserved and not have to wait or have someone complain that something's wrong with their room. Great experience! Can't wait until next time!
