“Friendly and Fresh”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

Had lunch here with a friend, all food very fresh and tasty, prepared as you wish. Imaginative soups, salads and sandwiches and very friendly service. Will go back again, and would like to try breakfast this time. Prices are reasonable. Tempting desserts.

“A welcome respite from Panera Bread”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2011

In these financially challenged times, it's great to see a new business succeed, and Jersey Girl Cafe is definitely here to stay. Chef Kathleen and her staff serve breakfast and lunch daily, with food made to order. There's a smallish dining area to eat-in, and everything is also available for take-out.
A unique option here is how you want your sandwich composed--panini, quesadilla-style, even a sort of deep-fried egg roll, called Jersey roll. They have a couple of soups daily (butternut squash and split pea are awesome), and if you're careful with your cash you can walk out with a small soup and a small salad for less than $10.
They sell artisan cupcakes from local baker SadieCakes--my one criticism is that the cupcakes may not stand up to the refridgerated case at times.
If you're looking for somewhere a little different to get your morning coffee and lunch-hour fix, I heartily recommend Jersey Girl Cafe.
