“Waffles Supreme!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2014

We just came from having breakfast for dinner @ Granny's and we couldn't have been more thrilled at our first meal in town. The waitstaff was delightful, helpful & made perfect recommendations that we appreciated bite for bite! The waffle delight was beyond delicious topped with ice cream, fruit, whip cream, sprinkles, and chocolate syrup it was the best waffle sundae I have ever had (see pic!) & the waffle itself once you could find it under the 87lbs of yumminess was perfect, light, fluffy and delectable. The biscuits were great as well. Others that walked in after us were greeted by name, and you can just tell that this place is not only a local favorite but the real deal in down home dining! Prices were incredible & if we were staying longer than 2 days we would be back no question! You will NOT be disappointed in your visit to granny's she's well worth the trip over the river & through the woods!

“Terrific breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2014

This was our first time eating here. We in the area of our children's camp and the other reviews were good, so we decided to give it a try. The pancakes were the best. Fresh, hot, delicious! The egg whit omelet could not be better. The home fries were not greasy. It was the definitely a place to return to.

“Exactly what you would expect!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014 via mobile

We visited the restaurant for a big family breakfast and were all pleased with our choices! It's a small venue, with many reasonably priced choices. From waffles, to breakfast sandwiches, they have it all. They cater to large parties, to kids and fulfill a craving for a big traditional breakfast. Definitely a great pic if you're looking for something big and casual!

“Skip the local diners and head to Granny's”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2014

Good Food - GREAT Service!! I stopped in for lunch during the week and was not disappointed. Great selection of home made meals, great prices and down - home comfort. It is a sweet little one-room place with red-checkered tablecloths - a real nice spot reminding me of a bygone era - so much cozier than a cookie cutter diner! I had a lunch special of wonderful broccoli soup and half a sandwich - delish. They have the best waitresses ever. Each one is as friendly and funny as they come - especially BETTY - we had a nice chat about meditating and she really made my day!

“Nothing special”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2014 via mobile

We went only because my husband was craving crepes, he even called ahead to make sure they had them and the person who answered the phone said 'of course we have crepes' (sounded insulted that he asked). Well, they DON'T have crepes. It's not fancy by no means and with plastic ' let it snow' Christmas tablecloths in March...not much goes into atmosphere. Prices are normal, 23.00 for 2 person breakfast. Won't be going back, nothing special, you can get what they offer elsewhere.
