“most appreciated by older golfers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2011

This museum has collected some very interesting golf artifacts and has very attractive exhibits dating back to the early 20th century, highlighting US amateur and professional golfers. The usga trophies are displayed beautifully and , included in admission, is a tour of the research facililty which tests balls and clubs. Available for a $5 fee is a 9 hole putting course and you can use and keep an antique replica ball. The surrounding countryside is beautiful,,especially with the fall foliage.

“Golf History at its best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2009

Great museum. Be sure to take the 1 hr tour of the tech research center. Guide shows you how they test golf balls and clubs, even have a robotic arm swinging a driver. You even get a chance to hit some balls with old clubs from years past. The premises has a 9 hole putting area ($5 extra) where you get to play with (and keep) a ball in the shape of decades ago and an old type putter. It's very challenging and a blast to play....... A thoroughly enjoyable day trip. cost was $7 for museum and tour.
