My first reaction of having a bridal shower meal (about 35 people) in a restaurant in a hotel (Hampton Inn) was not positive. However walking into the large marble floored lobby, with couches and a grand piano began to change my mind. Walking into the restaurant area with 2-story windows that look out into a garden area exceeded my expectations. The buffet which started with antipasto, ceasar salad and tomatoes with mozzarella and then included entrees of chicken, fish and pasta dishes was delicious and plentiful. Don't miss the famous Calandra's bread. ( By the way Calandra's bakery is a few miles up the road on route 46 and worth a stop). While a little noisy (probably from the marble floors, and high ceilings which accommodated those large windows, it was great place for a celebration.
