“Fun place for any night of the week”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

I live in Caldwell and go to Franklin quite frequently for a drink, a bite, or both. They have a decent wine list and almost everything I've ordered there has been pretty good. I really love any of the steak and cheese sandwiches, particularly the steak and hot peppers. The meat is cooked well and is not tough or previously frozen, from what I can see. Service is friendly and the pricing perfect for our budget. Glad they have an alternative to the Cloverleaf in this area. I definitely recommend, as the 'Leaf has a lousy wine selection.

“Great place for food, drink and a good time...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2013

Went here for the first time tonight. We arrived around 7:00pm and the place was packed! Luckily we only had to wait 15 minutes. The place has a nice vibe. Good crowd with mixed ages and people just hanging out eating, drinking and having laughs. The Guinness beer and homemade Sangria is a good choice. Now for the food. We had the caesar salad, french onion soup and homemade guacamole for appetizers and all were very good. The salad is enough for 2 people and the guacamole was very tasty.. For dinner we had a hamburger platter, a steak sandwich with hot peppers and sliced potatoes, and 2 Big Mac burger platters. One Big Mac platter had french fries and the other had sweet potato fries. The sandwich was very good and we all enjoyed the burgers. The Big Mac burger had sautéed onions and their special sauce on it. Enjoyed this burger very much.. I asked for the burger to be medium rare and it came out right on the money... We will definitely return here since our overall experience was excellent. The barmaids and waitstaff were efficient and friendly. This place just seems like a great place to hang out for some good grub and enjoy some drinks... Check out my food pics... Eduardo...

“Worse restaurant in N.J.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013 via mobile

It should get a Zero but the lowest option is a 1. First they forgot 1 of the drinks after 1/2 hour wait and it took 20 minutes to get 2nd persons drink. Food even worse. Brought wrong order, then 30 minutes later brought another dinner which was not at all what was described on menu and gross. The atmosphere is loud and kids screaming all over. I will NEVER go back. Worse meal in 52 years.

“Pub fare in the 'Burbs”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2012

This attractive sports bar has an extensive menu including prime and juicy steaks. So yummy. Sports fan will feel at home watching any one of a dozen monitors located all around the establishment. Located opposite an airport it is worth flying in for. For popular priced items try the burgers.
