We wanted to try a new place and we had seen the New Soul Grill the previous day as we were driving to the grocery store. When we pulled up to it, the outside of it doesn't look very appealing. We were still debating if we wanted to eat inside or take our food to go. We walked in and the employee was on the telephone, so we looked over the menu (it isn't very extensive). The guy working there seemed nice enough but he definitely did not go out of his way to make us feel welcome, which could be because he was waiting to go home (overheard part of his phone conversation). The prices were pretty good, so we had the baked chicken, ox tails (first time), corn bread (free and average), mac and cheese (delicious!!) and green beans. The inside didn't feel very inviting so we decided not to eat there. A few of the ox tails were just bones with no meat on them. The baked chicken was pretty good but there were a lot of little bones that took away from the enjoyment of it. I would go back, especially for the Mac and Cheese!
