“Older theater...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

I always love the architecture of an old theater. This place fell into that category. However, because of age I assume, it go way too hot in there. We sweated bullets the whole time. Security staff was great. Lots of people trying to come upfront for the concert we saw (Rick Springfield). Security made them go back to their seats. Sound quality was ok. I have been here a couple of times.

“Great theater, great value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

Just discovered the Bergen PAC while searching for Buddy Guy tickets. Bought tickets to see him there much cheaper than in Atlantic City ( which is closer to my home). Theater is a smaller venue and when he got off the stage to walk through the audience, I was just amazed. That would never happen in an ampitheater. Looked up their show schedule and will defenitely be returning for several shows over the next few months.

“Beach Boys' concert”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2013

With Love and Johnson over 70, they still put on a heck of a show! And except for what I note below, we had a great time.

The Bergen PAC is an old rejuvenated theatre and overall is an excellent venue. Plus the neighborhood is filled with nice shops and restaurants [don't go to Scholtsky's though-not that great]. The problem is management and their security policy. My advice is to NOT pay for great seats. Why? Because in the 100+ concerts we have been to, this is the first that the security lets people from anywhere come down the aisles to the front stage, blocking our view and enjoyment! And they do not care-you paid, they have your money, tough luck.

notes from the bottom;
food-alcohol and some non alcoholic drinks, popcorn, and candy
restrooms-way too small. 2 urinals/2 stalls-men, 4 stalls-ladies, for 1000 people...........
