We stayed here a weekend to visit New York city. Airport hotels offer good deals, so we chose this one.
Prices at this Hampton Inn were really good, so we were pleasantly surprised by the service offered. They went the extra mile!
One example, we ordered a delivery pizza, but it took a long while before the local pizzeria started preparing our food. I phoned them three times, and the pizzeria promised delivery within one minute. Sure. Then, the front desk woman stepped in and started calling the pizzeria. She tried to negotiate a discount, but did not succeed. Consequently, she returned all pizzeria leaflets to delivery boy, telling him that her hotel won't do any business with such a lousy pizzeria. She really stuck it up for us! We want more of that.
We were also pleasantly surprised by the breakfast, they offer lots of healthy choices.
Rooms and were clean, everything looks new, and all that for a very sharp price. Wifi works fine, but for some reasons not in our room. There I had to use a cable.
There is a shuttle service that takes you to the airport, it runs every thirty minutes.
An alternative route to New York city from this hotel is to drive to the Staten Island ferry port, park your car and sail into New York, highly recommended.
