“Best Amusement Park for a Relaxing Day with the Kids”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2011

We've been going here since our oldest, now a teen, was a toddler. Whatever time of year you make your visit you'll always have a good time.

This visit, for Halloween, we came for trick or treat weekend. You trick or treat at the rides and attraction for small toys and packaged snacks. Almost no candy, which I feel is a big bonus! They get enough on Halloween. They have a wonderful maze that has a goal. Find all the stickers to complete a puzzle. Just challenging enough to make you feel like you accomplished something if you find them all. If you don't you can ask for whichever ones you need at the end.

At Chrismas they cover the park in lights! Santa rises up out of the chimney of his house at dusk to ask the children to help him light the park. Its magical every time I see it!

Some of the things I like best: No matter how crowded the parking lot looks it never seems too crowded inside. You never have to wait forever to get on a ride. Big enough to have fun but not too big for little legs. Parents can fit on all the rides. I spend the day saying yes instead of no...difficult to do at a bigger amusement park since there are so many rides they want to go on that they are too small for. Super clean. A really safe family friendly feeling!!

If our kids ever decide they're too old for Storybook Land I'll have to borrow some. But so far even the teenager looks forward to playing there with her little sister!

“Great family fun!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2011 via mobile

We recently went here with our two kids (3 and 1). There was plenty to do for both of them. The 3 yr old was big enough to go on most rides himself, but adults can go on the rides, too, so we were able to go with him. We could also take the 1 yr old on the rides with us, but I thought many of them were too adventurous for her. It's fun when the whole family can go on a rise together, and there were several we could do that. There are also places throughout the park where there is a little "puppet" display, and the kids enjoyed them. The park is big enough to do many things and spend a day there, but not toobig. It also wasnt very crowded at all; hardly had to wait on any lines. Can't comment on the food, we brought our own. Parking was easy and free. Restrooms were clean, park as a whole was very clean and well maintained

“Great Fall day...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2011

Hayride, pumpkin decorating for thekids, a fun corn maze. Very nicely decorated for fall.
I suggest eating elsewhere before going in. The food is expensive and NOT good. (Actually pretty bad) They also need a sign warning you to have "all your party together" before approaching the ticket window. Very grumpy elderly lady will put you in your place rather rudely. We almost left if not for the little ones. The parking lots were full and busy but you wouldn't know it inside the park. The rides never seemed busy and there were no long lines. The hay ride was nice and each child left with a pumkin they got to decorate. Very nice touch. Yes it is expensive especially since everybody pays but we felt it was well worth the price of admission. I highly reccommend it for the kids....just watch out for grumpy lady at the door.

“Smaller park but great for 8 and under”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2011

We came just at opening on a Sunday in September. The parking lot was filling up and I was a little worried about lines but it was empty! It was a cloudy day with a chance for rain so maybe that kept people away but we walked onto every ride. Sometimes it was just my niece and sons on the ride.
The operators were all cheerful and were even joking with the kids. Not many surly teenagers there for a summer job so that might have been the difference.
We spent about 3 hours there and did everything. It might take longer if you wait in lines.
My sons are 8, 5, and 2 and my neice is 2. Even the 2-year-olds could go on almost every ride. I think in another year, it might be too childish for my oldest.

“Storybook Land not Disneyland!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2011

What a fantastic little park. We discovered it by chance and sadly on the last day of our holiday so we could only stay a couple of hours before driving to the Airport.

As it turned out a couple of hours was all we needed. Even though a Saturday the park was not busy and our daughters managed to go on every single ride and some even twice.

The park is set among tall tress making it a perfect place to visit come rain or shine. We were there on a hot sunny day so the trees provided some welcomed shade. It was very clean and tidy.

It was quite expensive but only because we were there for a couple of hours but if you were there for the whole day, the entry price is quite fair as everything is included apart from food. It was very clean and tidy.

The attractions such as Snow White's house etc are getting a bit worn around the edges but our children still loved them and it did not detract from their imagination. This place would benefit from having some costume characters. I appreciate this place is not Disney and it doesn’t pretend to be but children love real life characters and the value this would add to the park would be immense.

We would say the maximum child age to get full enjoyment out of this play is about 6. We saw a lot on unimpressed 7/ 8 year olds walking around. There are a few bigger child rides but the main focus group of the part is 1 – 6 year olds I would say.

It was good to go to a park where most of rides could also be experienced by our 14 month old child as well as our 3 year old. Wish we could have stayed the day but we still enjoyed the time we had and got around everything.
