“Mayberry eatery”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

Visiting Egg Harbor City is to step back in time, and the Harbor Diner is no exception. The food was good, the service friendly and considerate. While the menu was frighteningly extensive, the lunch served us did not disappoint. What I enjoyed most was the photos of the area that dated back to the 20s and 30s. I would have liked to have read all of the captions that accompanied the photos that adorned the walls, but didn't wish to annoy the other patrons. This restaurant is yet another fine Jersey diner.

“Great find in Egg Harbor City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2012

We were passing through the area and discovered this large, clean place on the White Horse Pike (Route 30). The prices are very reasonable and the portions large. Lunch of about $8 included a large bowl of tasty tomato bisque and terrific gigantic pastrami rueben with fries and cole slaw. So much food that I took half the sandwich for later. Do not miss this place if you are in the area.

“Cute Diner, Waitress Knows Everyone By Name”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2012

This is standard diner fare, with slightly tastier than average preparation of breakfast options. I wasn't a local, but everyone else in the place seemed to be. The waitstaff seemed to know literally everyone else in the place by name. Which is kinda neat. Looks to have a very well stocked bar for a diner (there was a conspicuous bartender on duty at 10:30am).

“A hidden gem in a small city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2011

Clean, wonderful little restaurant on the White Horse Pike in Egg Harbor City. The coffee was hot and our waitress was always right there pouring it. The food is delicious, reasonably priced, and the rolls soft and warm! My husband and I opted for the Friday specials, with either soup or salad, and our colleague had a Greek salad that made MY mouth water- large and delicous looking.
Food came out hot and just the way we ordered. Our waitress asked us if we wanted dessert, but we were sadly- too stuffed to even share something. Good portions- reasonably priced- great waitress service- clean surroundings- what more could you ask for? We will definiitely stop there again on our way to the shore!
