“New waiter”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

New waiter at this restaurant - service improved 10x but still shorthanded at times. Same delicious food. Try it again...

“Don't judge a book by its cover”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

It's quite normal to walk into this place and be turned off by the wobbly wooden tables, bland decor and completely out of context Jamaican music. Allll of that is soon forgotten as soon as you take the first bite of your chips and fresh house-made salsa. One of 3 extremely passionate servers will soon tell you how they make their own orange liqueur and make some excellent recommendations for your starters and now you know you've discovered something quite special. Every dish, I mean EVERY dish is fantastic. The combination platters are your best bet for an entree and for appetizers don't miss out on the nachos with cheese and peppers; buenisimo! The service is also quite rare; every person that works here seems to really dig the place and are quite passionate about the fare. If you are in the area there are few culinary options. This one is not to be missed!

“Great food poor service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2012 via mobile

Love this place and food. I try and get there on like Tuesday's when it's quieter. Terrible service though, be prepared to wait if they are busy.

Best red sangria ever!

“Prices too HIGH!!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2010

Food portions were cute and quaint just like the atmosphere. I thought all was good, nothing fantastic, very familiar in the sense that it's nothing special. I'd be okay with that if (three) bean tostadas didn't cost 14.00. The margarita's were good but were served in wine glasses and once again if they weren't as expensive as the chain restaurant margaritas that are larger we would be going back. This is cafe food with restaurant prices. Sadly I won't return because I can't afford to spend 66.00 on 2 appetizers, one entree, and three margaritas that left us all hungry.
