Based on all of the "awards" filling their windows you would expect an excellent meal from an area filled with Italian restaurants. Unfortunately it did not measure up. The menu had a nice selection, but the number of specials was absurd. When reciting the specials we could not understand most of what the waiter said, and he must have told us at least 20 specials. Half way through I stopped listening. These are obviously not specials and are the same most nights. If you have that many specials print up a sheet and put it in the menu. The meals started fine with warm bread and bruschetta. The house salad was a nice size, but mainly mixed greens with little else. The entries were mediocre. Not good, not bad. The linguine alla lido, with shrimp, scalllops, clams, mussels, calamari and fish sounded good, but was very average. I couldn't find any scallops, there were two small shimp, and the sauce was undistinguished. Another pasta disa was average, and the shrimp francaise was okay. The service also was not very attentive, as they were understaffed on a Thursday night when the restuatant was only moderately crowded. Based on all their awards we may have caught them on an off night, but I don't think so.
