“Nice Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013

We spent two nights here and had to cancel our third night which was not a problem. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Desk staff friendly and helpful. Very close to exit on NJ Turnpike. Starbucks coffee was available for purchase whereas most Courtyards provide coffee free of charge each morning in the lobby. If they did I couldn't find it.

Stay here every time I am in town on business. The hotel is nice and clean, staff is pleasant and accommodating and make you feel at home. Rooms are big, clean and neat. The gym needs some work and attention but overall this is a nice place to stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with 2 queens - these are the biggest

Stayed here at the last minute for one night while in the area for business. The lobby was nice and clean, staff was pleasant and accommodating, although one person at the desk was not enough for the work load. Room was big, clean and neat. I had double queen beds and the room was plenty big with a work desk, enough room for 3 people. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Had dinner and breakfast in the lounge area. Food was good, prices and selection are typical for a hotel. Starbucks helps in the morning but my only complaint is they don't open until 6:30 am. No luck for early risers. Thought the price of the room was a little steep without breakfast. But great stay overall. One problem I had while booking room at last minute over the phone. Called and got a price without ability to use AAA discount or cheaper rate. Called back an hour later and got the room $20.00 cheaper plus a AAA discount of about $10.00. (Without even asking) Everything about the reservation was the same, just figured I would mention this.

We stayed here for the July 4th weekend. The hotel is about 30 minutes away from Six Flags. For some strange reason, there are no hotels really close to Six Flags. This hotel is right off of the New Jersey Turnpike. It's a pretty quiet area. The nearest stores and restaurants are a 5 minute ride away. There is a Stop and Shop nearby where we went to stock up on supplies for the long weekend. Check in was quick and the hotel lobby was clean and appealing. We had a 2 queen room with the breakfast package. I highly recommend the breakfast rate, because for a family of four, the breakfast is about $35.00. The breakfast is a la carte (not a buffet), and it was delicious. The room was fairly large and very clean. It had a refrigerator, a work desk, wifi, and also an ethernet connection. The bathroom is split with the toilet and tub in its own area, and the sink out in the room. The shower was the handheld type (great for kids). The indoor pool was great, and so was the hot tub. There is a fairly large gym for those of you that have the motivation. Overall, a great place to stay.

It's been a while since I stayed in a Courtyard. I was very pleased. The location was very convenient to the NJTPK and business. The staff were pleasant and the rooms were clean, updated and comfortable. The Starbucks in the lobby was a welcome site. The restaurant was packed which was a good indication, though I did not eat there. A good stay and will definitely be back when in the area.

Stayed 3 nights here recently. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and professional. The fitness room is a bit small but had the basics needed for a workout. The bistro was open for breakfast and dinner - no lunch. The atmosphere was relaxed and the food was tasty and convenient. The evening waitress, was great -personality plus and excellent service.

There was some highway noise due to the location of the hotel but the A/C toned that down.

Stayed overnight with a friend from North Jersey. I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel which I live only 2 miles away from. Upon entering, the lobby was cozy and welcoming. The front desk staff were very friendly and courteous. Our room was very clean and the bathroom was very modern and sparkled. I commented to my friend that it was the cleanest bathroom I've ever seen in any hotel I've stayed in. That also goes for the bathroom in the lobby. Breakfast the next morning was included in our stay and again I found it to be beyond what I expected. I ordered the french toast and was given 4 slices with fresh fruit..it was fabulous. I will say the service was slow on a Sunday morning with all the overnight guests there, but we found out later that they were short 1 worker. My daughter had a wonderful time in the pool but wished it was heated : ( because the water was colder than most pools. Aside from that, I would have no problem staying here again....and probably will even if it's to have a "Mom" weekend.

Room Tip: Rooms must be sound proof because we could not hear anyone and our floor was booked.
