There was a short video in the beginning that helped me get oriented with the museum and the local history. It was a nice attraction, thought it would be especially nice for families with small children. The mill is rather large, although it doesn't seem so on the outside. The village had several buildings, one showing how ice was harvested, which was educational for me. The school house and log cabin were cute. I believe the best thing about this place is the scenery. They have benches by the river where you can enjoy hearing the running water and get a good a view of the small town. It was a nice day trip for me.
