“Ok for the Stay!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2011

I was using Hotwire and you guessed it.

"It wasn't what I thought it was!"

The Days Inn. is minutes from Philly, Clean enough and quiet enough with comfy beds.
It's an old Outside door hotel, in a very quiet area of older hotels. Not sure about safe, but definitely quiet and probably now safe.

Not much of a crowd for a columbus day weekend.

They have a Continental Breakfast. Our room came with a Microwave and mini fridge too.
The room was spacious and the A/C was noisy and so was the heat.
But, a real road warrior can handle such a minor inconveniences.

All, in all, an ok stay.
If your looking to crash your head on a pillow. To get some rest, it's a. Good stay!
If your looking for style and or panache, don't go!

I thought I over paid, but the location saved me that much in gas probably!

So for me it was a survivable stay.

Room Tip: 2nd flr. only!

I think for the price this hotel is pretty in line with similar locations. The room was clean enough, certainly in need of some maintenance (painting, re-caulking bathroom, sink stopper was broken - I reported this to the staff in the morning). There was a stain on my sheets which was gross looking, but all in all it was comfortable enough for a one night stay in a low cost hotel. The doors open to the outside so if you are a light sleeper you may hear people coming and going in the parking lot. The staff was friendly when I checked in and out and there was a free continental breakfast, free parking, and free wifi. I have stayed here before and the pool is ok, it's outdoors and not heated, so there are better options in the area if a pool is important to you.

Room Tip: Ask for the second floor to avoid some of the parking lot noise of people arriving and leaving, and...

This room was adequate for an overnight. The room was clean as was the small pool. The breakfast was very minimal, but free. The night "auditor" was so angry and rude to us . There was a mix up with two parties with the same name. She should not be dealing with customers if they value their customers. The owner was more reasonable, but we had to endure the night auditor giving us the most hateful looks while he was speaking with us.

Room Tip: search for better rates for this motel on line.

A typical Days Inn. Friendly staff. Big room. Bathroom was clean but room it self was a little dusty. This can be improved by the cleaning crew. Nice kingsize bed. Average breakfast.

It was nice and quiet, but we saw a cockroach in the room.

This is an exterior corridor hotel. If you leave the door open, then there is a chance bugs will get in the room!

This hotel was clean enough that it worked as a cheap place to sleep when our family of 4 was in the Philadelphia area. The kids (8 & 5) were disappointed with the cold pool that closed at 8pm. The queen beds were nice. It was handy to have a fridge and microwave in the room. Breakfast was bagels, toast, oatmeal, limited cereal and juice. All food items seemed fresh and were restocked often.

Stayed here for two nights, one week apart. Both rooms had two queen beds, were spacious and one had a sofa. Both rooms were very clean and nicely appointed. Rooms are accessed from an outdoor hallway. There are several national chain restaurants nearby as well as the very large Cherry Hill Mall. The motel, being seven miles from the New Jersey Turnpike, was a little further than I would have liked. Check-in and check-out were efficient on both stays. I would stay at this motel again.
