“Authentic Italian dining”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

My friend and I spent an enjoyable Friday evening at Amici. We had heard good reviews of the place and left very satisfied. We wanted to sample several courses, but neither of us are big eaters at a single sitting. We decided to share an appetizer and primi courses, order our own entrees and then share a dessert. The wait staff was friendly, accommodating and efficient. They evenly paced our meal and served everything exactly as we had requested. A nice touch here is that all staff works together to provide a pleasurable dining experience. I will certainly return to Amici.

“Great service and Italian food at a reasonable priced byob”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

Went with friends on Easter Saturday night. Restaurant not too crowded so perhaps statement of other reviewers may be accurate but not indicative of our experience. Seated immediately with attentive wait staff. We had for appetizers cajun scallops (incredible), tomato / mozzarella slices. Salads were large and split between two people. Eggplant parmesan was ordered off menu and very good with a layer of ricotta cheese. Other dishes equally good: veal parmesan, veal with crab and shrimp with artichokes, red snapper. Definitely on my A list!

“Needs work!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013 via mobile

Four of us went for first time. Had 6:30 reservation which was honored promptly. Greeters were wonderful and friendly. Place was nearly full and service was extremely sloooooowwww! But that was ok for us because we enjoyed chatting and enjoying our wine. Three of the meals were great, but, my veal parmesan was way overcooked, burned and dried out. Took almost 2 hours to get our main courses. Prices were reasonable. They are new. Management needs to stay on top of dining room and food coming out of kitchen for quality control. Veal should not have been served in that condition!

“A great new find in Cherry Hill”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013

We had dinner at Amici because we were lured by the ads for restaurant week. Upon entering we were greeted with a smile by the greeter and the wait staff. This is a BYOB so for those that enjoy some wine, bring your own! The restaurant week menu had a good selection which was a surprise to me, since the week's price was only $25.00 per 4 course dinner! I had hearts of palm salad, then mozzarella with tomatoes topped with roasted peppers and chopped fresh sweet basil. The main entrée salmon in a dill sauce with seasonal fresh veggies. Oh yes, my desert was tiramisu. By the way if you like your dinner nicely presented, each course was a colorful work of art, the chef took his or her time setting up each course. My wife's meal was just as delicious with a chicken breast entrée. The wait staff was always refilling our water glasses and bringing more bread and dipping oil with balsamic vinegar. At the end our waiter even offered to help my wife with her coat!

“Inexpensive doesn't make up for bland food and poor service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013 via mobile

Visited this evening after a recommendation from a friend. My husband and I had four different items from the menu... All were tasteless. However, the service was worse than the food. No one came to take our order; we complained, when a couple who came in after us, was served their appetizers before us. We practically needed to beg to get our main course. We had to ask for more water, no one ever offered pepper for salad. Won't go back.
