“Great lunch deal and awesome bread!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013 via mobile

Enjoy the different textures in the Blue20 house salad. Pretzel crusted talapia was great. Did I mention the homemade bread was awesome.

“One of my all time favorite restaurants”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

Everything is done right here. Their rolls, salad, shirachi shrimp are scrumptious. Service and general mgmt all so thoughtful and fun people. Ambience details are fine, elegant yet cozy, warm and welcoming. They offer wonderful specials that are of reasonable cost. I love this place and you will find me there often - a special occasion place too.

“Service with a smile”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2013

four of us, the other three having dined there before and wanted me to try it...lovely atmosphere, clean, friendly staff at the door...the decor is soothing as well as uplifting...our server alexander was friendly, knowledgeable, accomodating, not to mention easy on the eyeballs...the oyster half shells arrived smaller than i anticipated...followed by alexander and then the chef apologizing, it was someone else's order and not only did i get my originals but they allowed me to keep the others...on fridays there is a special 1/2 price wine bottle special with good selections..my stella arrived cold in the stella chalice..appropriate!..the crabcakes were delish, one of us devoured the lobster ravioli and shrimp..never even stopping to breathe or share!...my sis asked for the dessert to go, and changed her mind as we sat..no problem, she was brought a spoon and napkin...and service with a smile...would definitely return here

“Not as good as before”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

We ate at blue20 a few weeks ago and have eaten here a few times before. It was ok, but not the very good meal that we have had on prior visits. Dishes were a bit hit and miss. I ordered the lobster and asparagus risotto. It was served with a very small lobster tail on top of the risotto. The tail was grilled and burnt (black on the shell) leaving the meat dry and rubbery. My husband loved the tuna tartare and like his crab cake. DS thought the shrimp ravioli dish was OK. DS and I had caesar salad which had an overly strong anchovy taste to it. We will give it another try because maybe it was a bad day. Won't be rushing back, however. Service was excellent.

“Great Happy Hour and Higher End Sea Food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

Quality-wise this place is close to McCormick and Schmicks but with a slightlier more contempory vs traditional take on sea food. The atmosphere is really nice. The lounge has a fireplace and plenty of space where you dont feel crammed in with people waiting for tables. The dining room is quiet dispite being fairly large.

The happy hour is a pretty good deal, and it actually goes from 4pm to close Mon-Thurs. They have 5 dollar small plates which were still a decent size, dollar oysters and reasonably priced drinks. They also have 15 dollar entrees (which come with salad). I ordered the $15 salmon with butternut ravilo with maple pecan cream and it was a perfect portion and tasted great. We also snacked on the $5 portion of mussels which were also cooked to perfection. A lot of places over cook them but these were not chewy at all. The restaurant also deserves credit for serving delicious warm garlic bread and even the side ceaser salad was better than most. The waiter was really nice and patient as we mulled over all the dining options.

I would have enjoyed having more beers on tap (3, and one was out) but overall a really nice experience.
