I had lunch here while in Carlstadt on business. I wanted a quick bite to eat before hitting the road, and this place fit the bill.
It was tricky to find at first because the name has been changed to the Eastside Ale House, but my GPS told me to turn left, and I found my self at the correct restaurant. There were still some signs inside that made reference to the old name.
The ambience was nice--lots of wood paneling and sunlight coming in the windows. I sat at the bar and had a bowl of cream of chicken soup, which was very good, followed by a buffalo chicken salad, which was also very good.
The prices were very reasonable, and the service was pleasant and efficient.
I would eat here again.
