“Dungeness Crabs”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

Our family had dinner here for the first time on Labor Day 2013. My husband has been talking about going to their Monday night crab feasts for years. Five of the six of us opted for the all you can eat Dungeness crab legs with red potatoes and corn on the cob. We loved it! Service was great, decent prices on bottles of wine (too bad they aren't a BYOB) and our waiter kept the crab legs and butter coming! It wasn't cheap at $29.99 per person but it was worth it. My daughter opted for a filet and she was very happy with her dinner. We will go back.

“Excellent waitress and food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2013

We went the 1st night for the prime rib special. My boyfriend enjoyed his prime rib. It was juicy and cooked perfect. I had the filet mignon so tender and seasoned perfect. We liked it so much that we went back for the seafood buffet. Best value! There were many options to choose from and everything we ate was delicious. Our waitress Jess was wonderful she went above and beyond to bring out fried shrimp that we had expected on the buffet , but they rotate with fried scallops (which were yummy too)! Included awesome variety dessert table. The oreo cake and caramel apple cake are so good! Will definitely be back! Side note the hostess said they had recently hired new chef's good pick!

“pricey for a family, but”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

good food and a good value - the breakfast buffet is really good. Tripadvisor, is a 60-character minimum really necessary here?

“Best prime rib I have had in a long time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Everyone at my table ordered prime rib. It was cooked to perfection and the sides were delicious as well. The service was excellent! We had wine at the bar for Happy Hour, so this was a very reasonable meal.

“Great sunset dining and happy hour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

We visit Hemingway's somewhat regularly and find the service to be great and the food pretty consistently excellent. We tend to visit for the early dining specials and must say they are a real value with everything from beautifully prepared salmon to perfectly cooked steak and fresh, yummy seafood pasta.

Hemingway's offers as part of the early dining special an 8 oz. filet which my spouse to be and I have often enjoyed. The potatoes vary from fries to garlic mash--artery cloyingly good--to roasted red and the vegetable of the day is just that. I find the veg to have too much butter, but my honey loves it that way. Dessert is usually a bread pudding--very tasty but certainly not light!

At happy hour, at least off season, the bar area has free noshes. It may be mussels, pasta, vegetables, you never know, but always good and sometimes superb.

But what makes Hemingway's special is the people. A special shout out to Christian at the bar who always welcomes us to Donna, waitress par excellence, who serves with a smile, quick wit and helpful suggestions. You have to give hemingways a try.
